TUCKER, Arthur (1864-1929)
Born in Bristol, Tucker moved to the Lake District and
was a founder member of the Lake Artists' Society in 1904. Exhibited
intermittently at the Royal Academy between 1887 and 1902 and annually from 1904
to 1919. Tucker specialised in landscapes, mainly of the Lake District, although
he also painted Welsh and Yorkshire views.
